My little corner of the internet

2004 – 2008

Everything started in 6th grade. My first website is technically still online, but is empty. (I forgot its password.) The earlier years are a bit of a blur, but I clearly remember being deep into the world of fansites around 2007. That's when I built my first pure HTML site — no templates, no CMS, just raw code. Whenever I added a new element, I had to update every single page manually.

PaintShop Pro was my thing and I was seriously into it back then. And accessibility? I took it to another level — though probably not in the way you'd expect. I also started exploring motion design.

2010 – 2014

I made my first English site with Wordpress after taking over the domain from its previous owner. And I started using Adobe Photoshop.

August 2011 – I think this was the first time when colorful felt like a compliment

In 2012, I was in college, and somehow, I was able to manage to keep two sites up and running.

February 2012 – I remember it gave the name 'rock chick' to this design...
July 2012 – This site was very short-lived... Tobey, come back!

And I opened my third site at the time.

September 2012 – The title and the menu links were all Times New Roman
April 2013 – Responsive layout was a challenge
October 2013 – Loved these colors
December 2013 – Accessibility wasn't my strength
February 2014 – Why did I think orange-skinned people would look good...
August 2014 – Peaches everywhere
December 2014 – Still one of my favorites

Now

If you're wondering if I gave up on my fansite mania, my answer is no. I continued it on social media. Where? Let me keep this a secret. (I have almost 10k followers.)

I still like creating pop-industry things.
